Morning Dew Light Candle
Actually this isn't morning dew...this was a shot I set up with a spray bottle. Whether real or staged, I love this image and the simple color contrasts, colors and two subjects (leaf and the drops)
I used to think in terms "purism" in my photography and had the pretensious thought that if an image in nature like this was stages how it would somehow take value away from the accomplishment of a great image. It doesn't. Or, at least it didn't for me which is why I don't mind staging photos as long as I'm honest about how the image was created is what matters.
